Black Board Robust

The Robust Black Board by Laura Living Style combines the solid strength of the classic Robust series with the ancient Japanese Shou Sugi Ban firing technique: Locally sourced oak is carbonized in controlled flames, deeply compacting the fibers and making the board extremely resistant to mold, moisture, weathering, and pests. The deep black color permeates the entire wood, stylishly highlighting the unique grain of each piece. Over time, the carbon layer develops a subtle patina that further emphasizes the organic character.

Each board is handcrafted in a small workshop, finished with food-safe grapeseed oil, and is 100% food safe. Shape, surface, and dimensions (approximate) vary – knots and natural cracks make each piece unique.
